Honda Car India has launched the most awaited facelift of the Jazz hatchback in the Indian market, prices begin at Rs. 5.30 lakhs. The new third generation Jazz has a lot to offer and Honda has planned to make it big in the hatchback and pseudo crossover market that is popular now.
The Jazz is offered in two engine variants – a 1.2-litre i-VTEC and the 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine that is found on the Honda Amaze. The car is offered in five trims for the diesel variant and there are two extra CVT operational trims found on the petrol variant. The massive game changer will be the Honda Jazz diesel and it has the claimed fuel efficiency of 23.7kmpl and the petrol engine figures are great too, with over 18.7kmpl of mileage for the manual petrol avatar and over 19kmpl on the CVT.
There is new touch screen system in the interiors with an AVN system, Magic seats with reclining function at the rear, nine cup holders, steering mounted audio controls and much more. Of course, the new and updated car is a huge leap forward from the predecessor. In terms of safety, the car comes with ABS and EBD and the driver airbag is available from the S Trim onward. The VX trim gets dual airbags and ABS with EBD on both, petrol and diesel trims.
