Following other carmakers, the massive German carmaker Mercedes Benz has also decided to raise their car prices by over 10%. This hike will be in effect from January next year and the company is also offering good finance options for better sales of the last month. We have been reporting about BMW’s price hike ranging from 7-10% and Audi’s ranging from 3-5% before – they will also be effective from January 1, 2014.

Earlier this year, when the rate of Rupee was decreased against the US dollar – the carmaker did not show any effect on its prices. However, they did raise prices by up to 5% as per the exchange rate. The CEO of Mercedes Benz Eberhard Kern said, “A fantastic year of offensive focus has helped us achieve tremendous success in India despite challenging market conditions and we will continue to build on our success by further enhancing our after-sales programmes, dealer network and  customer support. As market dynamics continue to evolve, we are committed to offer the best luxury experience and delight our valued customers.”
