The home grown auto maker Tata Motors has been going through diminishing sales figures in the ongoing year. And even with new launch of Tata Safari Storme in the month of October, company could not achieve the desired sales counts. Though, before introducing Safari Storme in India, company took 3-4 years for testing the car and adorned strictly designed 4×4 configuration and other features to bear the off-roading activities, the vehicle lacks many of the features. Even, the top end variant of Safari Storme comes adorned with just a single DIN aftermarket stereo system.

So, to make the car more appealing, company is putting hard efforts and is focusing more on Interiors of the car. The new alterations will include 2 DIN music system and a touch screen panel for navigation. Tata is presently checking the consistency of these add-ons, so they could be witnessed in Safari Storme by the mid of 2013. With these new additions, perhaps Safari Storme will be able to take on the likes of XUV500, which is completely adorned with all sorts of luxury features.

As far as technical specifications of Tata Safari Storme are concerned, the car is powered with a 2.2 litre 16 valve common rail (VariCOR) engine, which is able to churn out a peak power of 138 Bhp power and maximum torque of 320 Nm. With best in class turning radius of 5.4m, Storme comes adorned with reverse parking assistant system and electrically controlled ORVMs, helping in more smooth and comfortable driving.
