Indian Fiat car owners assemble in Pune for a communal meet at Ranjangaon unit

Fiat India Automobiles Limited (FIAL), a 50-50 joint venture partnership between Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A. of Italy and Tata Motors, successfully concluded a congregation of over 600 Fiat vehicle owners from all over the country in Pune on December 14, 2012. The mass of Fiat car owners drove down to the Italian auto major's Ranjangaon production unit based in Pune, Maharashtra, in order to participate in the historic event.

Reportedly, more than 200 Fiat vehicles arrived at the world class Ranjangaon unit from New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Surat, Mangalore, Goa, Raipur, Udupi, Dehradun, Indore and Pune.

Enrico Atanasio, Managing Director (MD) of FIAL, said “In our humble attempt to reward Fiat loyalists, we have made arrangements for more than 600 car owners from across India to visit our state of the art Ranjangaon facility so that they can witness first hand the technological process and precision with which their beloved Fiat cars are manufactured. We are extremely excited today as this gives Fiat a strong opportunity for consumer connect and engagement by amalgamating these Fiat brand loyalists into the unique Fiat culture.”

The event highlighted the trust, loyalty and respect for the Fiat brand among domestic car enthusiasts in the Indian auto market. FIAL organised the communal meet to make its customers aware of the cutting edge technologies and assembling processes used at its Ranjangaon production unit, which comprised of the sophisticated Fiat Power Train (FPT) division. At the event, FIAL also declared a national referral program, according to which 'Team Fiat India' members can yield exciting rewards and benefits on Fiat products and services.
