After Delhi, Bombay, Bangalore and Gujarat, now it’s Jammu’s turn to enjoy GM’s recently launched Chevy Sail U-VA’s ride. Built on India specific new global small passenger car platform, Chevy Sail U-VA has made its journey to state of Jammu also. According to Sastry Vempati, Vice President, Planning Program Management and New Business Development, General Motors India, Sail U-VA is resulted out of two years efforts of engineers at the GM technical centre-India in Bangalore, who made this vehicle ensuring that it would meet the requirements of Indian roads and Indians buyers as well.

Moreover, Vempati also said that Sail U-VA is an important addition to GM’s stable in India. As B-segment in Indian automotive industry is growing very rapidly, Chevy Sail U-VA offers a new sagacity of liveliness to this fastest-growing and most competitive segment in the domestic passenger car market, he added.

Vempati said "Sail U-VA is more spacious than its contenders in the class. It carries Chevrolet’s signature design cues adorning a dual port grille with gold bowtie and sporty styling. Aimed to take on the likes of Swift Dzire and Hyundai i-20, Chevy Sail U-VA is offered in seven exterior colours options including Super Red, Switchblade Silver, Summit White, Caviar Black, Linen Beige, Sandrift Grey and Misty Lake."
