Suzuki two-wheelers collaborates with Asia’s biggest Youth Theatre Festival

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), a subsidiary of one of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, has joined hands with Atelier's Campus Theatre (ACT) Festival 2012, the most awaited Youth Theatre Festival in India. The Suzuki Swish 125 is the title sponsor for the event. The festival was inaugurated by Mr. Atul Gupta, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, SMIPL, Ms. Anu Anamika, National Marketing Head, SMIPL and critically acclaimed actor-screenwriter Mr. Saurabh Shukla.

ACT aims at integrating education and theatre. ACT 2012 kicked off on October 28 and is Atelier’s sixth in a row fest. ACT Festival 2012 is spread across 16 days, featuring 45 performances across 7 venues in New Delhi. The festival will see the participation of various campus theatre groups residing in Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune/ Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur and Chandigarh. As in the past, the organizers expect various celebrities and film stars to support the fest with their presence.

Mr. Atul Gupta, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, SMIPL, said, “The ACT Fest 2012 is a great platform for artists and theatre actors to come together and acknowledge the spirit of theatre. It enables mingling between people and exchange of innovative ideas. We are delighted to be associated with such a prestigious event and hope to contribute to the theatre space in our own way.”

Ms. Anu Anamika, National  Head - Marketing, SMIPL, said, “Theatre brings out the best of imaginative minds.
