Bajaj Auto reports a decline of 3 percent in July sales

Bajaj Auto today reported 2.90 percent fall in motorcycle sales in July. The company had sold 3,18,095 units in the corresponding month last year, according to Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL).

BAL said exports also fell by 12.84 percent during the month compared July 2011. In the three-wheeler category, the company said its sales dipped by 22.63 percent.

The total vehicle sales of the company in the last month compared to the year ago a period showed a decline of 5.38 percent.
